Observations

Low Visibility limited observations, however no recent avalanches were seen. The Saturday night storm snow seemed to bond well to the old snow, as the new snow /old snow interface was unreactive in isolated tests. Significant wind scouring on the Mazama bowl approach (SE aspect) and wind loading into Mazama bowl (~5400' NW aspect ) was enough to turn us around to seek out more sheltered terrain.
