Assuming considerable snow instability in the Mission Ridge/ Wenatchee Mountain area, we avoided open slopes and kept it mellow in the trees. Despite a conservative line the slope broke on second rider.
ECT 26 sudden collapse on facets close to ground about 5feet down. No signs of instability in the upper snowpack.
Shovel tilt test yielded no results. Assuming we found a wind slab?
