Comments:
Large crown visible from the top of the Brooks chair at the ski area. Photos are looking to the West from the ski area to slopes on the other side of highway 2.. Avalanche crown appears to be at least a D2 on an easterly aspect near treeline at approximately 5k.

Observations

Sunny skies at 9 am with increasing high clouds later in the morning. In addition to large avalanche crown previously noted, I observed lots of wet loose debris on solar slopes on Skyline Ridge from the ski area and Eastern aspects of Moonlight Bowl and S-SE aspects of Lichtenburg while driving east on the highway.
