HST 10-20cm from 4000'-5800'; HS 135cm @5700' on north. 3mm facets 45cm and below at this location. Highly variable coverage near treeline due to prevailing east winds. I collapsed a low-angle slope 30-meters in diameter below treeline while breaking trail. Noticeable punch to facets.. Debris on from natural storm and soft slabs on north, east, and northwest aspects. Snow surface faceting at 1800pm as skies cleared and the evening cooled.
