Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

12:55 pm, Elevation 5600, HS 100, sky overcast, snowing heavy at times, wind 290, variable, temp. 32, aspect 050, compression test 11, planar Q 1, SP, 15 cm layer, probably the newest snow, experienced collapsing, on low angle terrain. Ski penetration 7cm. I was a little surprised by the results, didn’t ski anything much, just out looking at snow. What I did ski was heavy, wet, and wind affected.
