Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Isolated
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
No

Observations

Phantom Trees was very stable. About 12 inches of wet new snow topped with 6 inches of not so wet down low. Lighter and deeper topping up high. Breezy with some light wind slab building on the open slopes above the trees, but only an inch or two, and not very cohesive so we weren't too concerned by it. Toured over to the slot exit and encountered a little thicker wind slab, maybe 3-4 inches, which cracked. But again, not very stiff and didn't propagate or entrain when knocked loose. Lower trees was mashed potatoes on the way out.
