Observations

Weather: S wind, mostly overcast, snowing from 4.5k and above.

Yesterday provided a tiny bit more snow for ~5.5k and above and mostly rain below.

Lots of wind transport in Clara basin, as per expectations.

Found occasional 1-2” wind slab on leeward slopes and absolutely scoured on windward slopes. Didn’t go near summit complex due to high winds and low visibility.

Prospectus: new snow combined with strong winds will add to the growing snow one slab issue. With that said, the 12/21-22 crust interface has been both less reactive and less planar.
