Observations

At 10:30 am on 01/01/2021 came across a D2 sized wet loose slide on Paradise Rd. on Glacier Hill. Debris field encompassed 1.5 lanes; appx. 5ft deep and 50ft wide. While stopped in a safe location to stop traffic a second slide came down at 10:45am appx 200 yards uphill on the road also D2 sized but larger than first slide. 1st slide location: 46.7793, -121.7627 Elevation 4154' Slope 38° Aspect 294°; 2nd slide location: 46.7755, -121.7679 Elevation 4078' Slope 37° Aspect 304°. Conditions at time of slide: 37°f; lightly raining. Evidence of wet loose cycle throughout area between 4000'-5400'.
