Observations

Triggered by ski cut on a convex slope in thick trees. Sluff was very light and slid past top of my boot. What slid was all new snow from today and was still so airy. that it couldn’t carry momentum. Didn’t carry me at all.

We didn’t see any other avy activity. Skied a more open slope that was less steep and was pretty stable.

Media

Steep convex roll over in treed area on west aspect of Kendall trees near top of ridge. 35-40 degree small feature slope.
Run out was very light and felt like mostly snow that fell today.
