Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Moon Bowl opened for first time, avalanche occurred approximately 2-2:30pm. Another skier discovered someone buried except for his head. I was the third one to the scene and helped extract the victim. Soft layer on top of ~2 week old rain crust released.
