Comments:
Visible point release on Crown Pt slope from Union Creek. Slide may have been started by cornice drop which engaged more snoe a few hundred ft below ridge.

Observations

Good skiing conditions were found in sheltered areas.

We avoided steeper terrain , wind effected areas and areas with rapid wind deposit.

Advanced Observations

Observed Avalanche Problem #1: 
Storm Slab
Comments: 
Early in the day storm slab was less cohesive, but quickly became more dense and wind affected. More prominent on lee slopes in Union Ck and steeper south slopes of East Pk.
