Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Dug a pit on East aspect around 6k. Found 60-70cm total. 10cm wind slab (ct1:q2) on top of dec 21/22 rain crust. Performed another compression test after removing top 10cm windslab and found ct28:q3. Thought maybe we’d see failure on Dec 9 crust that is still easily identifiable, but not much happening with it. There are some pretty reactive small wind slabs throughout the whole area. Not a massive worry at this particular moment, but absolutely something to watch as the new snow rolls on in.
