Observations

[Note: This was my first attempt digging a pit and my dimensions might be off and I don't have thorough readings.]
Wanted to see if a steep slope was skiable. Noted about 30cm of soft snow down to a hard crust. I dug out a Rutschblock test (200cm across, about 130cm in front, less on the back and sides). It appeared to pass the test with two hops, but an added third hop broke off the top 30cm to the crust. Wish we could upload video in addition to photos. I have a video showing when the Rutschblock test failed.

Media

Photos of Rutschblock test before it failed. I would upload video if the website could handle it.
