Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Dug a test pit on an E facing slope at 5,600 feet. While hard to initiate, got propagation in an extended column test. Surface hoar was found, and the temp gradient in the top 10cm would indicate that the 15cm of new snow is faceting on the most recent rain crust.
