Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
No
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
Yes, Widespread

Observations

Was hok skiing in the Methow Wildlife Area just east of Pearrygin Lake between 2,500-3,000' elevation. There was widespread collapsing and whumpfing of the snowpack so I stuck to completely flat, benign terrain. North facing wind affected slopes seemed much more consolidated. I have a video of the snowpack whumpfing here: https://fb.watch/2ygS0vDnl2/

Media

Lots of collapsing and cracks while traveling. I added a link to a video of the whumping above.
