Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Quick lap at Hyak -- skiing exceeded expectation. Sheltered slopes skied best -- 15-20 cm of dry snow over an edgeable crust. Near the crest, wind had gently scoured roughly half the terrain.

At least at these low elevations, no instability noted.

Primary reason for this post is to append images of avalanche paths from around the pass to aid forecasters in assessing the extent to which we've had a full cycle. I don't see many crowns, but the evening snow may have obscured them.
