Observations

Did a pit just below the Kendall knob on a SE aspect. HS 158 with 2cm rain crust from last night. The 12/9 crust is down at 73cm and not as stiff as other places I have seen it. There is a weird little layer at 40cm of bigger and looser rounds for 2cm. This is all on top of 38cm of tightly packed small rounds at the bottom. ECT yielded no results (ECTX). It will be interesting to see what the incoming pineapple express does to this snow.
