No wind with broken skies turning to overcast then turning to rain as we exited. Snow conditions were mixed with locations that had 100cm pole penetration in wet snow at lower elevations, icy crust in the trees and breakable crust higher up in the open. The Wet Loose likelihood was real at lower elevations in areas that didn't get tree bombed. Generally poor skiing. Dug a pit @4650 SE aspect. HS190 The concerting layer 10cm above the 12/9 crust was present but rounding. Generally right side up F to 4F above it. CT10 BRK Q3 in storm snow 10cm from surface. DT12 BRK Q3 10cm above the 12/9 crust. No observations of any slab avalanches where we traveled.
