Observations

Dug pit about 1/3 up SW-facing slope - 30 degrees. Observations: 10 cm uncons. fresh snow over a 2 cm melt/freeze crust. 25cm of fist dense snow below melt/freeze layer, to an 8 cm thick sugar layer. Below sugar later, increasingly dense snow (fist to 4 fingers) for the next 30 cm. Didn't sample below this point. Unergetic, layered reactions at CT8 and again at CT14 as indicated in photo.
