Observations

Quick early morning trip to approx 5200ft. Temp at base was 33F but snowing and put down about 1" between 6am and 9:30. A couple of quick pits showed ECT10 @ 8"down sliding but no propagation and uncohesive. This was noted with both pits and was storm slab. No windslab observed but could be covered up near leeward ridges with the snowfall. Snow was pretty good quality although heavy and even OK in the trees in the out track although all of this is guaranteed to change over the next 12 - 24 hrs with the warm precip coming in.
