Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Did a pit near / above the beacon park, About 25cm of new(er) snow on the 12/9 crust. Small little rain crust about 10cm down. Top few cm very wet from mixed snow/rain. Same (as Hyak) wet/loose layer of rounds at the bottom, but not concerned about it. Anything above the crust will be in play.

Also spoke with two skiers that cut a 12" wind slab at the top of the Slot today.
