Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Small dry loose avalanche triggered in shallow new snow on a convexity at top of ~35-40 degree slope. New snow 6-8 inches deep on average. Some wind loading, but generally unconsolidated everywhere. Surface hoar observed throughout Artist Point - Ptarmigan Ridge area, varying in size.
