Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

partially cloudy weather, temperature consistent in upper 30's, wind 5-10 MPH SW, no precipitation. Well packed trail out to hurricane hill. spring like snow conditions, 0-30inches. Biggest danger was open ground cover. N and E facing aspect with best snow coverage. Ridge lines with N and NE facing cornices, no signs of natural fracturing though. Exposed S and SW areas with little to no snow. No signs of avalanches.
