Observations

Please excuse me for I do not know the lingo. From Jove Peak and all aspects around the ridgeline to the north and east had obvious signs of avalanche breaks, some on the east to south east aspects showed signs of two layer deep breaks. The first break was 6in down and the second break was 10in down. Wind was extremely heavy from the west to East in the morning then switched to east to west in the afternoon making travel on the north and east faces a no go. The South and West faces had a ton of solar effect so we avoided those areas as well. We chose to stay in the trees and ride the south face which did not see a ton of sun due to being heavily tread.
