Observations

Amazing day out on Ruby! And no other souls in sight. Started skinning around 3k' and ski crampons were useful. Coming out of the trees, we noticed surface hoar and small amounts of active wind transport of snow on some parts of the ridge. Snow was variable but mostly a lot of easy riding cold powder.
