Just out of bounds on Mile lift from Timberline. Out of bounds to the west of ski area. Not a large area but there were fridge sized blocks in the canyon which could have injured or killed someone not paying attention in the bottom

Observations

Forecast called for moderate wind slab danger and first time we went out of bounds (with avy gear of course) we saw a collapsed wind slab. Wasn't clear from the tracks if it was human triggered (seems most likely though) or natural. Snow was solid past the slide but the wind slabs were quite large so stay well clear of the edges. Blocks the size of a refrigerator were seen so quite dangerous if caught in it
