Observations
Solo trip, conservative terrain choice, exploring mindset learning about early season snowpack. Dug a pit at 13:30 at 4500ft on NE aspect 10 degree slope. 66cm snow depth. 20cm of powder on top of firm rain crust. CTM 14 BRK on rain crust, not cohesive slab, CTH 25 SC at ground.
