Natural soft slab released from NW aspect of Ptarmigan Ridge ran about 300'. Too distant to estimate crown depth and width. Likely ran during 11/20 storm.

Partly cloudy early morning skies gave way to overcast by mid-morning. Snowfall began about noon, becoming heavy by 1 pm.
Light to moderate S-->SW winds transporting snow near ridge tops, building cornices.
Variable wind affected snow on northerly aspects; sun crusts on southerly aspects observed between 4200' and 5600'.
