Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Mostly overcast with occasional sun breaks. Light to moderate snow fall, calm winds, snow depths at 6300’ on west and north aspects were approximately 135cms. We found a right side up snowpack, no recent avalanches or signs of instability. Ski pen 25cm boot pen - hip deep. Back at the base around 1:30 and temps were noticeably warmer.
