Triggered a slab avalanche on SE slope. Broke above me about 10 feet but only ran a few yards as slope was small. Created a 1 ft crown that spanned about 10 yards. Ran on shear surface about foot down.

Conducted snow pit in White River canyon on SE aspect, with 30 degree slope. Did a shear test and took very little force to triggered a slab to release on shear surface about a foot down.
