Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Skinned up and skied down at Summit West. Like the previous observation for Hyak an upside down snowpack was observed with lighter snow deeper in the snowpack and heavier, stickier snow towards the top. At around 3,500', east aspect, I noticed a 3/4" thick crust from what I'm assuming was earlier rain. Small graupel was falling for a short time early afternoon sticking to the crust. Observation was made early afternoon.
