Observations

Old avalanche debris visible from the Timberline parking lot. We investigated and found 2-3 day old avalanche debris. Probable upper cornice collapse that caused the rest of the face to run. Unknown what caused cornice to collapse. Debris field was somewhat filled in from wind transported snow. Drop off from the top of the cornice was 10-15ft high.
