Spotted a crown apx. 2 feet deep and 20 feet wide along the steep E facing slopes above Summit Lake. Did not see it slide, nor could we catch how long it slid for.

Based off of the terrain, it looks like this slid on its own volition, and by the looks of it, it likely slid yesterday. Slope angle was around 40-45 degrees. Weather when we were there was dry and clear, temperatures were in the mid to high 20's, no wind. Snow underfoot was mid-shin boot penetration and snow on top was light and cold. Underneath was a firm snow layer.
