Calm to light wind, mostly clear skies, and no evidence of avalanche activity or signs of instability. I travelled from 6,000’ to 8,500’ outside the Timberline boundary, both west and east of the ski area.

Observed Avalanche Problem #1:
Wind Slab
Comments:
Stubborn wind slabs from recent storm varying from small to large in size specifically located on easterly aspects above treeline. Scouring on most other terrain and ridges. Slabs located somewhat low on easterly above treeline slopes relative to ridges, with scouring to ice and rock above/nearer to ridge top.
