Observations

Toured to Chair Peak Basin & Catche Couloir from 09:15-12:26.

Avalanche Obs: No new avalanches observed.

Snowpack Summary: 30-40cms of new light (F hardness) HST sits atop the Valentine’s crust. High elevation NW-NE features saw 10-15cms of wind pressed snow (4F+), mostly confined to at and below ridge top. 4-6mm surface hoar was observed in NW-NE aspects at tree line. Boot pen: 50cms

Wx Obs: Light N wind, few clouds, and cool temps. Warming and tree bombs beginning near end of field day (tree bombs started at 12:00)
