Observations

Mostly cloudy, with a few breaks every so often. Balmy.
Skinning through the trees <6000ft they had all already melted and it felt like it had rained in the forest. Below 7k the surface snow was moist, in open areas it was saturated surface hoar Above 7k I ran into dry snow that would resist roller balling for the most part. Mostly DF surface Moderate to strong winds on ridgetops with evidence of transport before the warmup. It started misting down rain about 1:30pm above treeline. No real wet loose slides triggered. Maybe I'd call it wet rollerball sluff.
