Between laps a N-SS(DL?)-R1-D1.5 occurred off the rocks around 7000' adjacent to the terrain we were skiing to 6500'. We observed widespread wind loading from moderate topographic winds with light to moderate transport.
Did you see shooting cracks?
No
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
Yes, Isolated
Friday's wind was followed by a foggy, mild Saturday with a Saturday night that dropped several inches of snow. Sunday had a warming trend that began to cool as west winds shifted east. We triggered several wet loose BTL on north aspects and then, following a lap, noticed a reasonably sized natural wind slab (or dry loose originating from cornice fall?) Around 7000' on N. A combination of Friday's wind affected snow and loading, and Sunday's winds transporting Saturday's snow suggested conservative terrain choices.
