Elevation:
4000’

Comments:
Saw several very small D0.5 wet loose across multiple aspects. Most looked to have been started from tree bombs

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

It seems like the storm came in upside down with very dense snow over a somewhat lighter layer. Dug several hand pits along the way and the denser layer consistently broke away cohesively. Trees were dropping bombs all day and we saw several huge rollerballs and some small wet loose activity. We stuck to more moderate terrain and didn’t see any other signs of instability.
