Observations

Skied today in the trees starting near tree line out of Heather Meadows. Found the forecast to be generally accurate; in the morning things seemed very cohesive, and observed isolated whumpfs and heard a natural avalanche later on in our day as the weather changed from light precip to warm mist. went grapuel hunting but it seems to have been destroyed by the recent snow (where we looked). Observed a crust at the base of the new snow on solar aspects.
