Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Toured from the climbers parking lot to approx. halfway between the top of the Palmer lift and Devil's Kitchen. No warning signs from any of the recent avy forecasts were seen - everything in this area was extremely windswept with no sign of wind-loading nearby. The only hazards were the large areas of bare ice above the ski area and risk of falling on sastrugi before getting back to groomed terrain.
