Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Lots of wind blown snow exposing a variety of conditions: stable crusts, pockets of accumulated wind-blown snow, and punch crusts. We skiied N facing avy terrain (40-50deg) that was not wind loaded and didn't observe anything interesting - a bit of a crust was formed on wind-blown areas but was not present under tree cover.
