Observations

I skied into a protected chute on the NE side of Three Way Peak. The ridge and slope above the chute had some wind affect, but right as I got into the chute the snow softened and was much deeper. A 6-8" wind slab released off the tips of my skis. The slab was approximately 50 ft wide and ran for 200 ft.
