Comments:
See photos. Depth of avalanche and crown about only about a foot or so but above consequential terrain of cliff bands. Carried skier but only partially buried. Lost both skis and able to recover skis doing a probe line.

Observations

Clear, relatively calm day with clouds moving in later afternoon. Aside from this slide, did observe wind affected snow on N and NW aspects and triggered small wind slabs.
