Observations

We noticed isolated wind pockets and wind affected snow while skinning up S aspects. Before dropping over the ridge onto the north aspect we performed a ski cut of the slope and triggered a wind slab that ran 300 feet. The crown was approximately 6-8 inches deep and 20 feet wide.
