Small wet loose initiating from exposed rock bands. Entrainment evident with soft new snow above the transitional rain affected layer below.

None reported

Observations

Rain affected snow from previous event prominent to around 5000', transitional to 5500', with 2-4" new snow at elevations above. Wind transport observed (SE 15-20 @5500') with lee slopes loading.
Small wet loose initiating on exposed rock bands on southern aspects. Previous wet slab observed on one steep slope at 6000', SW aspect, size 1.5, likely occurred during peak temps during the last precip event.
Clear to partly cloudy, with light to moderate SE winds at ridgetop. Temps below freezing at 5500'.
