Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Went up into basin with an intro to touring group today. Did not ski much above the lake due to conditions. Noticed full breakable crust. Crust is thicker down low; not quite ski supportable. Thinner up high. Below crust is breakable snow. Saw lots of avi debris.
