Fog, wind light and variable, temp estimated 31, 5700, east aspect, HS 93cm, surface crust almost boot supportable, 3cm light snow on a strong rain crust. Two weak contacts revealed in the column test in the top 7cm. The buried surface hoar was still reactive at 11, plainer failure but did not displace. The surface rain crust was strong enough to ski on, but I did not travel widely. Visibility was to poor to see beyond a few hundred yards, so no big terrain observed.
