Observations

Snow quality and stability were better than expected midday on Maggie's. The sun made an appearance for a couple hours of good visibility. The 3 - 8 inches of soft, textured snow over the supportive rain affected snow/crust were fun but became grabby mashed potatoes later in the day. A bit of a breakable crust exists for the last 150 feet above the road but this seemed to break down later in the day as well. The ridges are quite exposed and the cornices have been eroded, some have slumped. Temps were a comfortable 32-33F and winds were calm. A damp fog rolled in around 3pm.
