Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Rain! Made a quick recon to see what was going on, nothing good. What started out as pretty good snow was rain saturated glop on the way out. 5500 seemed to be near freezing level, but it was variable. Trees were shedding, heavy sticky snow that will likely form a crust when the temperature cools. Roller balls on steep slopes.
