Comments:
Wind Slab broke while booting uphill. Broke on a convex feature mid slope around 7000'. Carried us 500' down. No injuries, just bruised ego and missing ski poles. Did not get depth of crown. But debris was ~3' deep in places. Remote triggered two small slides on either side which you can see in the picture.

Cold snow above 4500'. Moderate winds and blowing snow throughout the day and the day before. Minimal drifting snow on the surface. Skied protected slopes with similar aspect and elevation prior to the incident.
